I just softmodde my xbox with SID v3.1 using the Splinter Cell exploit and everything went fine the first time. I was using Xunleashed dashboard. I was trying to install one of my games to the hard drive but I couldnt find the option to do so. I proceded to find the answer and I noticed my hard drive was locked. I unistalled the softmod, went back to the hard drive, unlocked it, and started the process all over again. This time I installed EvoX. It told me to restart the xbox, take out any DVD and the install would finish. When pressed the eject button the game came out but the eject button was flashing Red and Green. I also got a screen that said I needed to call customer support. Can anyone help me please?

You can't start the Xbox with an unlocked drive my friend. Why did you unlock it?
Use XboxHDM or AID to relock your drive and you should be ok again.

He shouldn't need a backup on his pc to do it.
If you boot from the AID disc, then you can launch Chimp 2.6 from the Advanced section. From here using option 3, you should be able to lock the drive. It'll search for the eeprom on the Xbox, or you can lock it from the m'board.
First off I want to thank you guys for replying. I really do appreciate it. When I found out that I couldnt install the games to my hard drive, I thought I needed to unlock the hard drive. Obviously it didn't work, haha. So I made the XboxHDDm Linux boot disc. I hooked up the hard drive from the xbox to my PC and turned it on. I followed the instructions to get to the 'xbrowser' . I navigate the screen untill I see the backup folder on the left and the primary folders on the right. I copy the files from my xbox hard drive, (BACKUP Folder), over to the primary C and MS folder, (MS is the same as E in this case right?). I thought by doing this it might work Not so much. I re-hook everything back up to the PC and try to re-lock the HDD from there. It says that It can't do it. When I was reading the threads today I noticed this one:

My question is, am I supposed to hook the Xbox up to the PC somehow? Or how would I go about doing It using the XboxHDM? (I dont have the eeprom files or anything else backed up on my computer. After it worked the first time I thought I was fine)

As soon as I turn the xbox on, the eject button flashes red and green. Then a message pops up saying, Your xbox needs service, or something along those lines.
Hey, did you fix this? I've just got the same problem... except I was trying to make xbmc my default dashboard then I got the green and red flashing light and error 13

No, not yet. I've been reading a lot of things online and one that I came across suggested a EEPROM reader. I think I might try that.
