Hi everyone !
I am about to buy my first XBOX. But i will need to convert it's video mode from NTSC to PAL, because i live in europe. what i have to do? what type of software to use? can someone please explain it to me step by step? i read a couple of posts about that Enigmah converter is used to switch modes.. but something must be done before that, sumthing to do with chipmods or something can't quite get it.

If you get the xbox there it should already run in PAL mode.

Well if you really want to buy from the US then you need to use enigma's NTSC to PAL swticher. However, I would just buy one from europe. _________________

All the TV's there are PAL man so you would want a pal xbox that way you can see the screen to mod it then you will be able to switch from pal to ntsc if needed.

Here it costs 600$ ... right now i am about to get it for 200$ from the US...
It's clear about Enigmah... but what about that Chip Mod and bios? Is it the same thing, which is being done to XBOX to run copied DVD's?
