I did everything this tutorial said: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/network-2-cards.php

But when I start up my xbox evox says my ip for the xbox is 0.0.0.0 ? What did I do wrong?

You can manually input your IP address very easil. Just go to your evox settings and when you highlight the IP address press your A button on your controller. Input your correct IP address and then scroll the whole way down to the bottom and highlight "Save and EXIT". Reboot your Xbox and your new IP will take effect. My guess is you are not clicking the Save and Exit, you are just backing out of the settings...it's a common mistake.

realmccloy is correct ,

ill just give you a little more detail . when using a crosseover cable between your xbox and the computer you have to go to evox settings and switch it to use static ip address , then assign your own ip address to the xbox for example 192.168.0.64 then go down and save the settings and reboot

then go to tcp/ip settings for that connection on your computer and set it to 192.168.0.100 ,

it will work if you are using the crossover cable but it will not if you are using straight through cable ,

you might have to adjust the ip addresses to suit your machine if you cant get access to the internet with those ips set
