Thanks to this site I have managed to softmod an Xbox, use FlashFXP to backup my games and Emulators and also rebuild my old hard modded X2.6 200GB HDD.
I just have a few questions and have been unable to find a solution to on this site or Google:
I have two icons showing up in XBMC under programs and cannot do anything with them:
Microsoft Dash (Modchip or Virtual C)
Microsoft Dash (Softmod)
My HDD was fromatted and built using AID4.10 (One Click install for Modchips - booting straight into XBMC)
Any ideas where XBMC is getting these icons from. I think they are in the root of C: but dont want to delete them.
There are also some Xbox.xtf and Xbox Book.xtf files in the root of C: Are these needed for hard modded Xboxes?
Also is there a clean way of adding a shortcut in Programs for booting the MS Dash without simply copying xboxdash.xbe into the programs folder.
Many thanks

If you got a chip you don't need an MS dash at all and if you want an MS dash short cut check this http://xbmc.org/wiki/?title=Programs in the add a source section.

Wes - Thanks mate - Instead of using the one-click modchip install via AID4.10. I manually formatted the large HDD, then prepared E: and F: and installed XBMC with all the add-ons as a dashboard. I then manually installed the Apps and FTP'd all my games back over.
I now have no MS Dash on my system yet I still have those two icons present in my Programs list. Any ideas?

Just high light them and hit the white button and select remove source, see if that gets them out of there.

I still dont know where they came from though. Anyway I backed-up my Userdata folder in XBMC and copied in a clean one and manually added the sources and they are no longer present. Problem solved Thanks.

P.S. I renamed the UserData folder to BACKUPUserData which caused XBMC not to boot. The thing that I thought was cool was the fact that it automatically started an FTP session which enabled me to remotely fix the problem - XBMC is awesome!

Good deal man, might want to check your XBMC build since the new T3CH build is out now.
