I still haven't been able to get a DVD burner and my xbox won't read CDR or CD-RW. So can I use AID by extracting the ISO (using XISO) to the HDD on on my computer then FTP the files to some folder on my xbox and then launch AID with Boxexplorer by opening Default.xbe? and install XBMC? I'm not all that brilliant when it comes to this stuff and I really would love to get XBMC working as an app. Thanks...

If I was you I'd use Quix to extract the files then ftp the files to the xbox. Then hit the default.xbe and it should run as planned. _________________

I appreciate the response. I don't have Qwix but I do have XISO. What would be the difference between the two?

Yes man, extract the ISO and FTP it to your Apps folder.
Worked out fine that way for me.

Sorry about that, yes you can use xiso then ftp to the xbox. I hadn't used xiso for a while so I forgot that you could extract with it. _________________

OK, I want to send out a huge thank you to you guys. I was able to run AID from my box and install XBMC. I think that I actually had some previous versions working though(Ijust didnt know it). It's one ot those "Im a moron" deals. When I first tried to install AID tonight I got the same thing I had going on before, A quick little blurb on the screen of the TV then nothing but snow. But with AID I had the music. When I tried to install XBMC by itself before there was no music so because of that I figured it had to be my TV. I changed the video input and everything is good again. I recently moved so I guess I hooked it up wrong. But thanks for a great app and a great disk to install it with.
