i get a service required call customer support with a 21 in the cornor came home from work was like that can anyone help me thanks in advance also i can play games but cannot get to a dashboard but it still loads games i tryed to go back threw the sc profile back to the softmod setup nothing just restarts the game im using sid 5.0

Ez fix man go here http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=auto+installer+deluxe+4.10 and download auto installer deluxe 4.10 burn the iso file to a dvd-r and pop it in, use it to reinstall the MSdash to C drive and in the dash section find your dash and reinstall that if needed.
This will fix the error 21 your getting.

No probs man and its allways good to see a new face in here, it lets me know the HQ will keep growing even if the xboxs game line up aint.

just got home done all that rebooted now i get same message with an 05 thanks to all who welcomed me found a nice little tutorial with all the error message fixes

did you choose an unlock option? because error 5 is an unlocked hard drive.
If this is the issue, then if your softmodded your gonna need to get a modchip, UNLESS you have your eeprom backed up onto your PC.

no but when i installed the mod i backed it up on my abox hd but that wont help will it? is it bad if you think your going to be sick cause you think u messed up your system right now i dont care if it is mod or not as long as i get my baby back p.s i think my 15 yr old cousin was on my xbox when i was gone i hope this is not the case he said he was not i really dont know

No man if you backed up the xbox hdd then you can use xboxhdm to restore the softmod.
But if it will still boot a game backup then you can re do the softmod with the auto installer deluxe disc.

Yep, you're left with the classic two options:
Hotswap or Chip
Unless your convinced you know where you're backed up eeprom is (if you have it), I'd probably say that chipping is the way forward for you.
If you need any advice on which chip to buy, just ask. Its fair to say you can't really go wrong with the xecuter series.
