Hello.

I have softmodded my xbox, and changed the harddrive to a 20gb one. It all works fine, I got some backedup games on there, and they run fine except for rainbow six 3. When i load the game (either via disc, or the backup verson on HDD) it asks you to 'Press start' to go to main menu, when i do, the screen flashes black and the normal loading icon appears and tells me to press start again.
I have 2 discs of rainbox six 3 (yeah im a fan), and 2 xbox's. Both discs run fine on the normal xbox, but both do the same thing on my modded xbox.

Any suggestions on the problem?

Thanks for any future help.

i think this might be a cache call!!!

go into your E drive and delete the folder called CACHE..
also if you have an X Y and Z, delete them as well then give it a try!

Welcome to the XBOX-HQ, we hope you enjoy this and all the other HQ sites we have to offer. Very Happy

Some games just act funny like with KOTOR, it would lock up on an R2D2 scene and i fixed it by putting the disk in the xbox and extracting the ISO to the PC with Qwix 101.
Then i extract the ISO files and FTP it back to the xbox Games folder.

I cant say it will work for sure but its worth a shot. Wink

TheRealHypnotiX: Thanks, your call was a good call, i had tons of cache in the partition folders.

SOLVED: CLEAN CACHE AFTER COPY/PLAYING GAMES IF GAME PROBLEM OCCURS. IF PROBLEM PURSISTS CALL DOCTOR.. no.. but put the disk in the xbox and extracting the ISO to the PC with Qwix 101.
Then i extract the ISO files and FTP it back to the xbox Games folder.

Thanks again.
