Okay, I'm THIS <-> close to finally finishing my softmod for the Xbox1. I'm using the Splinter Cell exploit method. I have the action replay software, but with one differance, instead of their expense USB-memory card thingy, I'm using my Xbox-USB controller with my memory card pointing to the drivers that Action Replay made. It works, I've already transferred some Halo 2 saves to my PC. My problem is that the exploit I downloaded (from Xbins), they won't be accepted in Action Replay because "They aren't a valid Xbox save". Yes, I did copy-paste a datelinfo.xbx file into each save's first file directory, so I really am stuck. I'm this close to finishing, can anyone help?

Welcome to the xbox-HQ man, we hope you enjoy the site.
OK NapalmRiot (love the tag by the way) you said you got the save files from x-bins so you could try downloading the SID5 App here: http://www.aidtracker.com/ and it will have the save files you need to soft-mod the xbox.
Just in-case I'm linking you to the SID5 guide, it wont help with putting the save on your card but once you have got the save file it will show you how to do the soft-mod. http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-256.html

Sweet. Yeah, my tag is pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. It's from my favourite type of drink, napalm and paint thinner; straight up.
But yeah, it looks like I'll be sticking around here for a while. If the softmod installer downloads correctly, then we're in business. Unfortunately, it's going to take a while... dialup and all. You know how it goes. It's made me humble for 10 years, rofl.

Small update:
I DID IT!
I used Krayzie's Ndure installer, and at about 9:30 last night, successfully installed UnleashX.
I'm still playing with it, and eventually will get about to doing a whole lot of stuff to it (emus, song editing, Halo 2 map editing, etc.)
I have a couple of questions though,
1. What temps do your M/B and CPU run at?
2. What is the safest speed your fan can run at continuously? I have it currently on 2.0x.
3. I tried playing a DVD in it last night as a test, but it wouldn't run. What do I do? I believe the DVD thing was installed.

Hey man,
In answer to your questions:
1. My CPU runs at 55 degrees, with MBoard at 35 degrees. The cooler the better, but these temps are no prob for the system.
2. Having it at 2.0x will be fine, no real need to adjust that.
3. Some like to use XBMC, others use DVD-X to play DVD's. Either way, you're going to need some sort of app to run the film for you. Both XBMC and DVD-X are on AID.
