GUYS,
I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE BIN/CUE FILES FOR BOTH SOTN AND TEKKEN 2 THING IS I GOT THE GAMES TO WORK BUT THERE'S NO SOUND COMING FROM CASTLEVANIA BUT THE SOUND EFFECTS ARE WORKING PROPERLY....TRULY WEIRD.....SAME THING FOR MORTAL KOMBAT 2....SEEMS LIKE THE SOUND IS REPEATING ITSELF ON THE MENU SCREEN.....I'M USING PCSX V18 AND I'M A LIL DISAPPOINTED BUT IF ANY GUYS CAN GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT ON THE MATTER, PLEASE HELP A BRUH MAN OUT...

If you still have the roms on your PC you mightwant to open it up and make sure the sound files are all there.
If you could try not to type in all caps it sort of an online taboo and folks seem to go off on it.

i came so far but i got so many ways to go. glad you told me about the caps though...my fault. right now I'm trying to alcohol sotn and it seems to be missing files so i'm trying to find all the files for it. The game plays but it's that castlevania goodness I'm missin but the music was sooooooooo gangsta!! but I'm concerned about megaman x4. I've done both bin/cue files thru magiciso and alcohol and it still doesn't work...wow. For a minute i thought I was retarded but when sotn started, i knew i doing something right...
i got megaman 8, sfex2, and mk2 working!! But dang it for tekken 2!!
I'll see if ilocate my old games to go thru alcohol again....oh by the way, i'm not mad but curious on how to fix things for the xbox....especially sotn!!

No prob on the caps thing, it dont bug me but most folks will bitch about it and it dose strain the eyes a little.
As for sotn its hard to tell the smallest scratch on the disc or a missplaced file and it get out of wack on you real quick.
For th most part all this xbox stuff is a try try and try again kind of thing and thare is nothing more painful than the lack of a quick fix.
Ill go look at my roms and see if i have it and if i do i will make you a list of the needed files to get it running.

wes, thanx for the response...u neva left me in the dark on anything...that's whats up now. right now looking at my ps games real close now but what you think wes? should i try to replace the bin/cue files and start a fresh one or justtry ot replace the cue file for the sound again?
Also, I'm abig ffvii fan and loved the game. Any ideas or what are some rareal gangsta games for the psone back in the day?
My two are fvii and sotn and bust a groove.....how bout u? feel free to give us insight homey.....

I have a bad habbit of junking anything that just wont pan out so i wold say start a new one and see if you can spot any changes in the files from the old one and the new one.
As for ps1 games i think my all time fave is the resadent evil directers cut dule shock, i cant do without that one.
I also have been surching pawn shops left and right for a real hard to find 3 disc set of D, not the best game but it was one of my first ps1 games and i wold love to have it for my set.

too gangsta on the the game re1....great game...played gc version and was blown away by the graphics too....my son was scared shytless!! poor thig too scared to go use the restrooms after he played it.....had to turn it in cuz he was that scared. he's only 10 now but when he was eight...wow.
cool beans then, i'llkeep doing my thing and trial and error and you know how it turns out. also, what bout grandia? good to collect or leave it?

Yeahthe first time i played RE1 i damn near ran out the room when the dogs jump in the window. LOL
I dont know about the other game i cant say i recall it.

Ah, the hours before I go on my six mile run to be wasted on being alucard with the best musical score goodness.....now that's setteld, I'm taking my patience to work on mmx4 and x5...i that lil blue guy and who's to say 2d scollers are dead?

Happy to help man, its good to see you got it going.
With roms and bin cue files and stuff like that it seems like if it gose wrong its allmost allways a droped file.

can't express the many thanxs for helping my situation......my boys came over and they were asking to do that to thier x360. now that itself seems like a challenge with the copyright laws and stuff like that ya know? i'm doing this for fun and learning alot the xbox and how u can things to it. Just a hooby in which i enjoy to play my old school games allin one. but the x360, i just told them to go online and ctreate and account and talk with the experts...cuz i ain't one yet........but one day i aspire to be knowledgeable....
but on the real......my drive is ffvii and right on ebay, it's goig 4 $50 used.....hope to find 1.....but all the bin cue files work and i'm you guys what were the classics and to have on psone?

Right now as it stands the 360 cant run emus and cant backup games to the hdd, all you can do with it is run backup discs.
I sure in time thay will find a way but for now the best option to not get kicked from xboxlive is to keep it stock.
