how do u know if your banned from xbox live because ive got an x-bit chip and i have installed the stealth button but forgot to change back to the normal xbox microsoft dashboard before trfying to run castle wolfenstein and it says problem connecting to xbox live your xbox me be modified.

Does anyone know if you still show up on friends list if you're banned? I thought I read somewhere that you would be removed from people's friedns list if you were banned, but I'm not certain of this. Ask a friend to check and see if you're still on their list. If you've been removed from the list, that sounds ominous. Can anyone verify or refute this?

Sounds like you are banned. If it mentions you are playing on a modified xbox, then it busted you.

is there anuother way to play xbox live GAMES without xbox live because ive heard of xbconnect or something like that if there is can someone tell me

You can only play System Link games on XBConnect (XBC). Most games are eschewing System Link and opting for Xbox Live instead, thus making XBC of limited use. so how do i set up xbc
and also the message that i get is xbox live is not connected your xbox may be modified or there may be a problem with the network. but all the cables seems to be conected because i can download skins from my xbox on avalaunch it is very strange
