That is a fairly ugly process........but hey it doesn't seem like I have allot of alternatives. I will see if I can get a chance to give this a whirl womtime this long weekend.

Any thoughts on why the MS dash restore with the LIVE retail games didn't work?

No man i got no idea why it woldent take the MSdash update, works for a lot of folks and you see post refer to it all the time and i had to do it to update a few xboxs just to install the softmod.

As for the hotswap yeah it aint fun but if you just cant update that dash then thats all i know for you to do.
So if you pull it off let me know man and good luck. Wink
