Do you need a chip in your xbox to soft mod it. If not what is the best way to soft mod an xbox?

Welcome to the HQ danjotom, have a look around and check out some of the other sites like pc, 360 and aid HQ man.

As for what your asking there is no need for a chip to softmod all you need is a mem card Action replay system or you can make a mem card like this: http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-194.html

Now when you have a way to put save files on the xbox you get sid 5 here http://www.aidtracker.com/

Now you got your sid5 and your flashdrive all you need is a guide to set up the softmod found here http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-256.html

With the links i gave you you can softmod your xbox if you need anything more let us know. Very Happy
