No if you buy GH3 it comes with the new les paul wireless controller on 360. The new controller has fixed every problem they had on the OG explorer the lame wammy bar almost impossible to play sittin down you know the rest. Also the instruments for Rock Band are really good quality, I want one of the guitars from it d@mn it. BTW did you check that vid out, they cut all the really hard parts out so no one other than the people who worked on the game and the people from scorehero that got to test the full game would get to see it and even most of the people from scorehero didn't get to see it cause they couldn't pass the song. They entered a debugging cheat I guess to show the people from scorehero the full song but it crashed and failed the song cause it couldn't handle the crazy @$$ solo. _________________

well thats good i guess i cant wait man....ill prolly buy GH3 with the new guitar and everything just to have a new guitar...nothing wrong with the old one...whammy bar works great, strummer doesnt squeak or anything...thank god for that. if the instruments are good quality, i can understand payin some jack for em but $1200?!?!?!?!? Im 19 years old and I have a job and parents and i still cant afford that....how are the "target" market of the game going to? im talkin like the 15 and 16 year old boys that work at the supermarket, how are they goin to afford it? thats crazy dude, rockband can suck my @55 haha _________________

You'll have to buy it with the guitar actually thats the only way its gonna ship at first as far as I know. What I was talkin bout with the whammy is that it has to be fully depressed on the old 360 controller before it works which screws you out of so much star power, thats why I never bought GH2 for 360. I actually think the strum bar is a little better on the 360 controller when compared to the PS2, but the PS2 controller is way more comfortable to hold and easier to play on, on most songs anyways. I can beat my PS2 score on Miserlou by about 15 to 20k on the 360 easily. _________________

nice man...ive never played GH on anything but the 360 so i couldnt really relate to the one for PS2....ahh ill prolly end up gettin the new guitar anyway _________________

Yeah I started out playin GH1 on PS2 then got GH2, my buddy has GH2 for his 360 and I play it all the time, but I don't think I could bring myself to buy it just cause the controller let me down; if they would of made the back button big enough to actually hit with your palm to activate star power since I always have trouble tippin it to rock out in Jordan and a few other songs, I prolly would buy it. _________________

yeah u cant really reach over to activate it which sucks b/c when i tip it i usually mess up a good note streak or a perfect play _________________

I just can't stand it on Jordan cause I like to activate star power right b4 it fails me and if I try it like that on 360 I fail cause it takes too long for it to activate. _________________

It is they fixed everything this time around man. If you search for guitar hero 3 on youtube there's a vid by a game site that shows all the new stuff don't mind the guitar the guys usin in it, they didn't get the new one when they did the vid. I agree darth the PS2 version is alot better custom songs, better workin guitar, I do wish there was downloadable content for it though I want the newest songs; its got Children of Bodom and two other bands in the newest pack out if you didn't know there was a new one. I'm sure someone will figure out how to put custom songs on the 360 at some point. Darth did you know someone pulled Pandora out of GH2 and injected her into Unreal Tournament? I wish I could find the vid for it I really would like to see that. _________________

I have had my Wii since launch and the lack of games around really bugs me. I can only play so many stupid mini games or younger child games. My sims does not cut it and neither does resident evil four. I can only hope that mario and super smash will be a big hit. Strikers sucks compared to Fifa and No more heroes looks kind of interesting. Over all I am playing more xbox than wii and it is upsetting. _________________ RastaCalavera

Well man have you tried heat seeker or Zelda those are my two favourite wii games and as you've read by goin through this GH3 will be out soon. Also there's a surgeon game that was pretty fun I played but I can't remember the name of it. If you look around theres some pretty good games for it man. If you wanna game you'll be playin for a while and you don't have it defenitly get Zelda Twilight Princess it takes atleast 40hrs or so to beat and is incredibly fun. _________________
