Using xboxmhd I setup a 160g HDD. I used the backups I made of C and E, and I uninstalled SID5.01 from my original retail 8g HDD.
Once I get SID installed, so I can boot AID, what would happen if I used the format section of AID? I've read that this is supposed to start you over clean with a fresh drive, ready to roll, but wouldn't a format delete your eeprom?
I'd like to start as freash as possible, as the backup of E has some stuff from the previous SID5.01 install on the 8gb drive, so what's the best way to do that?

That's just what I did, so I guess I did do everything properly.
Would there be any reason to then use AID to do a format of the drive?

Since its a softmod no if you format the C or E the softmod will stop working and brick the box.
If needed you can format the F drive but if it aint broke dont fix it man.
