I'm kind of new to this whole Xbox modding scene, so please go easy on me.
I have softmodded my xbox with Ndure's UXE installer (using the Splinter Cell exploit), and have installed a larger HDD (320 GB) using xboxhdm. All worked great, but I have been backing up all my games (which I have a lot), and would like to still have room to put ALL my music (which I also have a lot), and some movies. As it stands right now, I still have a bunch of my games that aren't backed up, and I am almost out of space.
Therefore I would like to upgrade my HDD further. I would like to put a 750GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive in my xbox (possibly bigger), and I was looking to use the same method as I had done with the 320GB hdd using xboxhdm. First question, can this be done?
When I was looking at the xbox hard drive compatibility chart, where I found this drive, people mentioned using XBpartitioner to format 32K clusters or the thing will stop working on me or something like that. Second question, do I need to use this program in conjunction with xboxhdm to get this drive working completely, or will xboxhdm do all of it for me and be as easy and smooth as the 320 hdd was?

What size hdd do you need to start using the 32k clusters? The biggest I've ever used in an xbox is 300gig. _________________

I think you want to use the 32k clusters when one drive(lets say the F drive) is going to be over 250gb.
But i use it if a single partition is going to be over 200 just to be safe.

I hear you man i been about to buy an X-3 for going on 2 1/2 years now.
In your tutorial, it says to use AID... Do I have to use that, or can I just install XBPartitioner on my E: and run it from there? I'm not very familiar with this AID or XBPartitioner program. When I installed my 300GB hard drive, it seems that the Krazie Ndure exploit did the partitioning for me.

Yes you can insatll XB Partitioner just like any other program and run it. If you don't have AID to get it off of you can get just XB patitioner from eurasia the link to the sites in my sig, if you aren't a member you'll have to sign up first, but you'll also be able to get whatever else you could ever need off there after you register and its completly free. _________________
