guys,
quick question....... i'm trying to use the skins from evolution x to use on unleash x dashboard. is it possible and also are there any new updates for unleashx for me to use?
Also is there a way you can link to my xbox and see my stats for it if it's possible?

If you change the file types and such you might get the background and load screens to work but not the full skin and the way it operates.
You never said what ver. your useing so i dont know if there are updates.
What stats are you trying to see?

iit's the unleashx version. You metioned i'd have to change the files around. How do it do this oh-great-and-mighty-wes-god-ofmodded-xboxes??! Also, I'm transferred 53 music files but it keeps playing the same tracks from before and i want them to be in a certain you know? how do i do that?
Question two: my xbox's ip address is 192.168.0.7 and i'm using fxp for transfers. is there any way you can see the system setup for me and see the mods for me? I not really to familiar with the setup and wanted to get some help on it.....

The back ground and lode pics just need to be the same size and name then move it to the skin folder of the dash you want to use it on.
If you want others to ftp your xbox you need to forwerd the port its on.

Ok.... the easy answere to your first question is no. You can make your own skins based off the evox skins by using certain programs. You can get em at www.allxboxskins.com . As for your music, go to system/settings/sounds and audio. Set your music path to your music folder. Then selesct random music. In order for someone to log onto your xbox, you have to forward port 21 to the ip of your xbox through your router. Then someone can use your ip to access your xbox. Not saying Wes isnt trustworthy, but you have to be careful who you give your main IP.... so dont post it on the main board. The IP you posted though was a local IP and cant be used against you. _________________

guys,
Getting a lil too over my lil realm of here. Wes mentioned to resize and rename the skins that were already on the box. How do i do that? Plus, I don't mind you guys looking at the box cuz honestly i don't know what's under the hood but just the basics: i know now it's running unleashx and has 200 gigs which todays seems small to ther xboxes...but i'm trying to get myself to understand it all.
can ya'll look at it and since i must keep my adrress off the post who do i send the email to to look at it?

You can send it to me but im not sure what you want me to look for.
As for the skins check the size of the pics and make your new pic that size, then rename the new pic to the same name as the one on your xbox.
(must be same format like png or bitmap what ever it uses.)
After you got it set up put it in a folder and ftp it to your xbox.
Or you could just download premade skins.
