[I want honest opinions from people who know what they are talking about in electrical knowledge]

I saw a device on tv that claims to be a power saver and can lower your electric bill..
Power Saver 1200 unit is a capacitor based power conditioner..

demonstrations showing a person with a volt/amp meter giving you some readouts, He claims that the pole intake ampers are lowered by half...

So he changed the amps by .xx you know its such a small change that it wold seem that you will run the device for the next 9 or 10 years to save the amount of money you payed for it.

The main thing is that if you change the amps going to all the outlets in a house then anything you plug up that needs the full amp lode wont get it.

The more Amps a unit takes, the more current it is gonna eventually draw....its simple ohm's law(google it) so a the power save functions basically cut down on the amps that the unit draws therefore lowering the current drew and thus lowering the electrical bill....Very Happy
