long story short i had a copy of san andreas which my mate scratched to poo, and i didnt even get a chance to play, so a mate told me they had a copy which i put on my xbox hd it wouldnt load with xbmc i thought was weird so i tried evox and volla it worked my mate then tells me his copy was an import so im like fair enough i got my disc so its cool, but i was updating my evox trainers and evox crashed, seeing as i haven't seen this mate for a while i grabbed a new copy cos i saw it for a tenner which is cheap as chips....anyway so i wack the game init back it up for loading times and none of my game saves work! at first it didnt recognise em at all, then when i copied the game saves to the new game save folder it created it comes up with damaged file - ive had this before but like hell am i playing all those levels of san andreas again!!!!!!!!!! any ideas how i can fix this cos i didnt cheat or nothing and all that efforts gone to waste otherwise! this may be the turning point for me to format my xbox hard drive and o#put it back in my pc its the last straw god damn it!.....not very short story tho lol
and ive never completly completed a gta game and i wanted to complete san andreas before gta 4 comes out and have been chipping away at it for months now please help

I got the same crap some time back and ended up needing to delete the save files and starting over.
If anything might fix it it wold be save resigner it might be a problem with the save sig.
