whats up guys? gotta small problem here....i recently bought a halo edition xbox from a buddy mine...first thing i did was take it apart to see what kind of drives it had....i do this with all my xboxs....well once i got the info that i wanted i sealed it back up plugged in the cables hit the power button and nothing happened....this is the second time this has happened to me......ive checked all the possible power supply options that i have...im pretty sure i have anyway...and still nothing...im stumped...any ideas? _________________

yeah it has thats what i dont get lol...thats the first thing that i check for before i even purchase a used xbox is that it works lol but yeah they both worked before i tore into em...im so confused...figured something else out...the fan runs...so that should eliminate some possibilities of a dead xbox huh? _________________

yeah no doubt...i had no idea about those things...i mean i knew static electricity could do some damage but i had no idea it would be anything like that....anyone ever had to replace these damn things before? is it hard to replace them? thanks for all the info guys...really appreciate it.. _________________
