I wanted to run xbmc as a dashboard
softmod installed with aid 5 unleash dash install xbmc from here
renamed xbmc default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe xbmc file
and saved evoxdash.xbe to uevox.xbe the original
Reboot Xbox now I have an error
XBMC Fatal Error
T:\guisetting.xml, Line 0
Failed to Open File
I know there is no T drive so how do I go about fixing the error so I can run XBMC as my dashboard
I have ran aid boot disk and everything is back to Unleash dashboard
How to get xbmc as dash without the error
This app worked fine 09.17.05.Xbe.Shortcut.Maker.1.0
now runnning well
still would like to know why there was an error

if you just install XBMC from the AID disc you shouldn't have any problems, it will set it all up for you.

Its hard to say what went wrong but just a shot did you move the XBMC.xbe to the C drive or did you copy it thare and then rename it?
When i first started to use xbmc i moved the xbe insted of copy and got an err im not sure if it was the same one you got or not but i do know that way dose not work for me.

wes
I copied it e: and renamed it as I read this is what ur to do!
I think the problem Lies that even thou you copied an renamed it to the proper file it is not pointing to the correct directory
I assume this as By using 09.17.05.Xbe.Shortcut.Maker.1.0
you have to put in the location of the xbmc directory

Yeah or you can edit the xbe to point to XBMC folder so you dont need the xbe in the XBMC folder its all good.
