Ok if your stock hdd is locked it cant be used in any xbox but the one it came in.
If the hdd is unlock you can run it on a modded xbox or in a pc.

To make a xbox hdd work in a PC you can use thid tutorial.

This will format the hdd.
And as i said not so clearly in past post if you want to use a stock hdd in a diffrent xbox the hdd must be unlocked and i think the xbox your putting it in must be chipped.
I am sorry for my lack of know how on the softmods as i onley use chips on my xboxs but if you wait im sure some one will clear up any thing i might have missed.

ok um my drive is unlocked it's just it freezes when i plug it into the pc... so it's not workin... how do i set the drives...?
