Hi All, it's me again
After my first posting I've learnt a bit but I keep getting frustrated.
My last post has been hijacked by a completely different topic, which I guess happens sometimes in forums.
Let me bring you up to date where I am:
I entered this strange World as a Newbie I asked a few 'dumb questions' first.
I managed to get myself to the stage where I downloaded AID v4.01 and then I went and rubbished my sofmod by installing the wrong one click install.
I've managed to resurect my softmod and now I want to use AID as I originally intended. That is to give me the latest XBMC and lots of lovely skins to play with. With the ultimate goal of using my XBox to stream video, music and pics from my PC to my TV as a fully fledged media centre.
I've mangaged to get the latest XBMC installed but I don't know how to work with skins. How do I actually change them? Where are they? And what is the correct location of different files types? I can't get my head around where things are at all !
I have a C: drive an E drive and an F drive I also have a G drive that displays "Remote Share path not found" when I select it And as for the Q drive ...... what's that all about? Is it a straight back up of the E drive?
Can someone PLEASE enlighten me as to where things actually are supposed to be?
Sorry if some of this should be obvious, but I have done my best to try and find the answers elsewhere, honest

To change your skin you will need to go to Settings then Appearance. Here you change the skin and the skin themes.
Since you are softmodded, i would pop AID in and go to the bottom of the dashboard section and install the one labeled: XBMC (Soft DHCP).
Which is designed specifically for softmods!! If you have added all the add ons then you should have a few skins to choose from, if not you can get which ever one(s) you want from: Skins.

Hi Guys,
back from my hols now so I thought I'd better get back to setting up the beast.
Thanks for your guidance TheRealHypnotiX. I've grabbed a couple of skins and copied them across my network to the XBox as you suggested.
I appear to have 2 XBMC folders so I've tried the skin folder in both.
What I'm seeing is the choice of Project Mayhem (which I already had available on my box) and the skin I've added, xTV, but it's greyed out and I can't select it. I've tried to put it in the other folder, E/APPS/XBMC/SKIN but now I can't seem to copy files across my network. I'm going to do a restart on everything to see if that helps, but am I missing something obvious
