a while ago i had a version of mame on my xbox that i was trying to tranfer to my pc. when i did this all the roms were ok but the emulator was no longer working. i dont know which version of mame this was but i cant seem to play any of the roms in mameox, mamedox, mame-x or kawak-x. the one i used to have just had a blue background on the back. it does not look anything like the ones i have on the AID disk and i have tried looking for it and i seem to find all the other ones except this one. can anyone please help out with the version that im looking for because im tired of these roms sitting on my comp.

Well little buckaroo, they wont work on a pc if they were written for xbox. If you want to run the roms on a pc, you need the pc version of mame. im not trying to play it on my pc. im trying to put them back on my xbox. the mame that used to play them on my xbox got corrupted or something when i tired to load it to my pc when i was trying to clean up my xbox so the roms are ok but i cant find the version of mame that i used to have on my xbox. i tried playing the roms on mamedox, mame-x,kawak-x and final burn advance but they will not play on those emulators. i have about 800 roms but i cant seem to find the version of mame that i used to have so i can put them back on my xbox and play them. all i can remember was that it has a blue background with nothing else on it but the names of the game and it was al older version. i tried looking on google and ask. com but i dont seem to be having any luck finding it. if any one can please give me the version they think i had that way i just dont delete the roms.

The version you are describing does not sound familure. However, many others and myself use most of the versions you claim to have tried without an issue. How about we get more in depth on how you are installing them, where you received them, file path to the roms and such so we can help you get one of what you have working? _________________ XENIUM ICE 300GIG CUSTOM DVD
