To get on #xbins, you need 2 things an irc client like Mirc and an ftp pregram. You log onto the irc server whatnet(i believe its this one but i could be wrong) and join the channel #xbins. from there you send a message to there bot and it will give you a username and pwassword plus the adress to there server. Using your ftp client you log on and theres a ton of goodies. The have a limit on how much you can download in one day though. _________________
I already fix the ftp problem... i was changing the ip of my wireless instead of my local connection lol
And i got the Zsnexbox V3.0 final and it works great..
The only problem is that i have to zip each game to play them. And i can't zip each game cuz i got 758 snes roms lol ...that would take hours...is there any program that will zip each of the games automaticly?

I run xSnes9x and the ROM's there are all unzipped too. Seems strange that they would have to be zipped in order to run.
I don't know whether programs like Winzip could do multiple file zipping. Cos obviously what you want is a program to zip each file individually, instead of zipping them all together.

znes kicks ass. i love that.
and personally speaking, i had over 3.5k snes roms.. luckily all mine were zipped. but i didnt see playing them all, i think i have about 100 left that i'll even start up so i went on a delete craz.
700 is alot to zip, just narrow it down to the games that you'll play for now

Does sound like a big amount, but then again, it was around for a while with just the Mega Drive (Genesis) for company. Perhaps Nintendo really did have that many for their little console.

After some internet brosing, it appears that there are only about 300 "official" SNES games. I cant imagine there ould be that many more released in japan for the super falcom system. I have seen quit e a few hacks though. Especially for street fighter and final fantsy games. _________________
yeah FC i hear you
Maybe i should of chose my words more carefully.
i personally downloaded roms from `the usual places` for my own use, 7 in total, for cart`s i own, i downloaded them simply because i didnt have a clue how to extract the cart image to my pc ..... i was assuming this guy did the same, peer to peer sites are unreliable and people name files as they see fit . ive downloaded games that only had the file name, they were missing the extension ( jesus, i downloaded charlie & the chocolate factory, for the kid next door & after 30 odd hours it turned out to be `sekutra tails 3 - asian fantasy` pure hardcore pawn ) ..... i only mention this incase he had the roms minus the .smc extention ........... some people name files on there PC weird things

No probs man, we just have to be very strict about such things, thats all. P2P is awful for that kind of thing.
