Hi, well everything worked out fine with the new HDD. Got it working. Now Im trying to install unleashx (dualboot option, hacked dash/ms dash), using the splintercell exploit. When instllation of unleashx is finished, it tells me to remove all DVDs and to restart the xbox for the last part of installation. I choose OK, so my xbox is shut down. I remove the DVD, but when I put my xbox on, it gives me a error 21, service required. I tried it multiple times, but I cannot get unleashx to start installing the second part again... Whats the problem? Thank you!

You have offically what is called the unknown error message. It will popup but to be truthful, it doesn't have a direct reason, it was put there for special circumstances, and it looks like this is it. Corrupted/incomplete files. Ok, first, if this is the new HDD and no real important software is on it, I'd wipe it clean. Second, do you know of how to format your hdd on the comp? If not, ask someone who's done it before about how to clean things up there.

Everything up and running! Took me some hours (days) but everything is ok now... The softmod installer V5.0 includes a bug which causes a corrupt virtual c or something, which was the cause of my trouble. I reformatted my HDD about 7 times, to try all options available. Then I found out about the bug, and a V5.01 with a bug fix is available already. Tried that one, and I was done within 15 minutes (#@$#). Thank you all for the help!
