Don't really wanna go with a chip on this one, so i wanna TSOP it. The problem is i can't find any tuts for how to do it or what it does really. Can anybody tell me what it does even? If i dont TSOP it ill just go all out and buy a Xecuter 3 CE... _________________

flashing the TSOP is very risky. Have you thought of softmodding it if you dont want to install a chip.

Ya i could go with softmods since i use SID 4 and i own the mech assult game that works. Softmods for me though the unleashX dash never finds Apps/emulators in their folders. I may just ask for a Xecuter 3 for christmas so ill see what i decide. _________________

make sure you set the paths in the config.xml file and it'll find them no problem

I am also looking into chips as an option. Is a Xecuter 3 CE or a SmartXX v3 a better chip? _________________

Personally I use the Smart XX, but the cheapest way I'd know I think is to buy the non-solder Spider chip, it's pretty easy. It's all opinion on the chip. Offically Smart XX 3 is the only 6th gen chip. X3 on the other hand comes from alot of fans because it was on the scene before.
