Ok, I understand that I can switch my Xbox between PAL/NTSC this is not a problem, but since I live in North America, I can't play PAL games on my TV right? I can only happen to find soccer game, cause most American's dislike soccer, in PAL format. I'm confused as to if there is a way I can make them work on my TV/xbox.
Thanks for the help.

I just had a quick talk to Realmccloy and he seems to think that NTSC / PAL TV's in the states aren't that common.
It's weird coz in Australia we've have multi-format tv's for many years now (they can play both in other words).
Maybe some other dudes from the states might be able to assist you a bit more.

I've found that many PAL games seem to run on my modded NTSC Xbox. Maybe they are multi format, but, to my know, Mashed wasn't available in the US, although maybe it was in Japan, which could explain why it might have NTSC-capability.
I've tried many "PAL" games, and I've only found a few that don't work... The Italian Job & Conflict Vietnam.
I've been looking at a device to plug into a computer's USB2.0 port that can use the computer's monitor to display NTSC, PAL, SECAM. It can pick terrestrial signals as well. It's called Lifeview TV Walker Duo, I believe.
I have AFL 2003, AFL 2004, & World Championship Rugby coming from Australia and Formula 1 coming from UK... when they arrive, I'll let you know if they work. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Multisync TVs are, in my experience, rather rare in the U.S. If you ask for one at Best Buy, be prepared for dumb looks.
I've thought about doing the VGA port installation outlined in the Xbox Repair Guide. My Macintosh monitor is multisync. My old PC monitor may be as well. I could then try those out. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

I would venture to say they can be found, but you would be limited to where you could find them. In the bigger cities at the tech ma & pa tech stores you could probably find something, but your best bet, unless you want to visit NY, is to check online.
I am sure they are out there, just finding one in the states will be a little arduous.
Most americans think pal is their bowling buddy.
You could always see if there is a way to convert the game from Pal to NTSC... I think I have heard of that???

Err, I notice that PorchexBoxter was talking about "AFL 2004, AFL 2005"
Is that a football game? Cause I've never really heard of anything thats not NFL or NCAA. ERrr Canadian too, but thats only on Fox Sports World. I would be interested to play that if I can figure out a way, cause at least in the soccer games, the foreign games kick the ass of the american games.
And, haha, my TV is real expensive. So I was thinking maybe somewhere in that huge price it was multisynch. Its a RCA Scenium 54 inch High Def Flat Screen. But I doubt it.
Thanks for the input.
