how do i get the bios( evolution m date m8.bin on to my xbox

Well give us more info on ur box like what mod chip..... anyways u just need to burn the iso on a dvd or cdrw...

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you asking how do you flash a BIOS to your modchip?
If so, with my modchip, I burn the BIOS (named BIOS.BIN) along with a 100MB dumyfile onto a CD-RW. I then flip the switch on my Xecuter chip to the bank containing the Cromwell BIOS. I then put the CD-RW with the BIOS.BIN & dummyfile into the hard drive and, once the Xbox recognizes the disc, it will update the BIOS. Your modchip's procedure may vary. Different modchips are flashed different ways. Some need to be flashed via a programmer, others can be flashed via the xbox dvd tray. Some chips even have FTP capabilities built right in and you can avoid making a bios CD and just FTP the bios.bin file to your xbox hd and flash that way.
Once we have the correct info, I am sure someone can help you. Before you go any further though, you really should understand your flashing procedure and make sure you have everything you need to do so.
Also, the M8 bios is for 1.6 xbox versions. Make sure that is your xbox version prior to flashing with that bios..

Okay, if you got your xbox in 2002 then why in gods name do you want to flash it with the M8 bios??
That bios is for 1.6 machines.
Is there something wrong with your machine now? Why do you need to reflash the modchip?
You are going to have to open the machine. Refer to tutorials that show you where all the screws are. Once you get your case top off, there are three more screws to deal with, then you can lift the HD off, then the DVD Drive. Under where the DVD Drive was resting you will see your modchip affixed to the motherboard.
Let us know what you find and we'll tell you how to flash it, but I wouldn't use the M8 bios. I would use a Xecuter2 bios
