my xbox screwed up with an error 13 code.(error 13 is when theres files missing in the dashboard) when i turn it on it goes to the error screen and i cant do nothing about it. my games dont work my auto installers dont work and i cant ftp. and ive been suggested to hotswap. But i still have the eeprom and c drive on my comp. is there a way i could fix it with the eeprom ? without opening my xbox?

thats good you got the eepron on your pc
the onlyway is to hotswap, yes you have to open xbox and take hdd out and put in to pc

Well if you can boot into the installer again it has FTP in it. If you can't then your hot swapping. You will have to open your xbox and your computer as well... _________________

ok i have the same error 13 on my xbox
i can play halo 2 but all my memory is gone and when i turn my xbox on with no disk the error pops up
when i put a disk in before booting up my xbox i cna play but no memory
i can put my splintercell in and go to the temparary dash i can connect to my xbox with ace ftp but i for got to save the eeprom to my pc and i dont know where to put that any way if some one has a backup eeprom they can send me would be appreciated
some one plz help me i got annother suggestion from another site about the slayers disk thing but i would rather not spend money on a disk when i could use my pc to connect and fix it my self

Cant you just boot to your modchips OS and use FTP or SMB to replace the missing files? If you have a Xenium chip you can definitely do that as there is the ability to use FTP and SMB without having to boot your dash.
