My friend has a Tsop Xbox with Avalauch and he want a new HDD because the DVD Driver is death. But the problem is I don't know the IP config of Avalauch so I can't FTP to the box. Is there a way to install a new HDD for the box and I have other modded Xbox with Aladin chip (I think).
I just newbie so I don't know what to do. Please help me!

Yes there is. Get AID then put your dvd drive in his Xbox then put in AID and hook up the new hdd, then turn the Xbox off with AID in the drive then turn it back on and it will ask if you want to format the drive do what it say to format then use AID to install all of the apps you want.

What is a TSOP mod chip exactly. Once i know then ill try to help lol _________________

Tsop is not a modchip, it's a hack.
On Xbox 1.0-1.5 the BIOS is stored on a flashable chip call as TSOP. We flashed the chip with a hack BIOS so the box could work the same as a modchip does.
