I unlocked hd on dashboard. I rebooted, and when it booted back up it had an error 5 . Now it wont turn on and it has the original hard drive in it. Keeps giving error 5.

Meanwhile I switched my hard drive in my pc to try to make another hard drive for the xbox with xboxhdm. When I got done I put that hard drive in the xbox to try it. At first it was giving error 13. Then I put my other one back in and it started giving error 5. On my pc, When I put its hd back in, now it doesnt want to boot up. I can f1 and go into bios but it wont boot up and when I click f10 system restore, it just sits there and does nothing. So basically all I can do is get into bios. I reset defaults and still nothing.

So now my xbox wont boot with error 5 and my pc wont boot either. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this before my mom finds out? hehe

It sounds like you need to lock the hard drive. The only 2 ways I know to do this is either on your PC with xboxhd using the lockhd -a command or through the EVOX (possibly UnleashX) dashboard.
