Hi all,

I was recently given a Softmodded xbox with SID 3.0 installed, and was wondering if there are any considerable benefits to upgrading to later version of the SID (either 3.1 or 4.5)? I 've gotten used to changing the dashboard, setting up internet access and I've even managed to upgrade the HD successfully, but am a bit unsure on how to go about upgrading the softmod (should I install over the top, acting as though there is no softmod currently installed, or should I uninstall everything and then install it?).

I know the motto goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but I read that the later versions of nkpatcher can mount iso images, and that would be pretty handy.

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated

(apologies if I refer to SID as an actual softmod, if you guys consider it just a tool for applying a softmod. I'm still finding my feet with the terminology)
