Okey so I decided to to the hotswap softmod today. It all semmed fine and all files extracted and so on. But then i tried to turn the X-Box on and it wouldn't boot, so I did the hotswap again, loaded the X-Box harddrive into Xplorer360 and to my amazment i saw that my WHOLE Partition 4 was gone Sad
Now I can't do anything except boot to the MS Dashboard (I replaced the softmod files with the MS Dasboard too see if it would work) I can't even start a game, it just keeps asking me to call the Microsoft support Sad
Please anybody help me, how can I fix this?

It wasn't booting at all at first, that's when I decided to delete the softmod from the X-Box harddrive and copy over the old MS Dashboard that I had. I was using Xplorer360 to copy over all the softmod files to the X-Box. Anyways it seems that the whole Partition 4 is gone now =/

It boots to the MS Dashboard (Thats partition 3 or C or whatever you call it) but I cannot start any games or anything because I don't have Partition 4 (or partition E as it's also called). I've tried to to "Restore the Xbox from Scratch" option in Xboxhdm but it gives me this error, No Xbox Partition Table.

if it boots to ms dash, then you dont have a mod.. you have to install a mod on it... the reason theres nothin on E: is because there isnt... original stock Xboxs only use C: to boot and E: for gamesaves and music, etc... you have a wiped drive therefore now E: so you have to either softmod or install a chip and then install a dashboard with AID3.10

but it boots to the MsDash completly fine? ya'll prolly have to do a hotswap, but you need the eeprom, so you could try to softmod, but i recommend a chip, its worth it..

If you wish to go ahead with the hotswap, you can perform it even if you don't have a backup, but you will need to download the M$ Dasboard.

There a link to the hotswap tutorial under my sig.
