Just before Christmas I was given an xbox which doesn't have a HDD, and I want to simply softmod it but I don't have the original HDD or the password. Is it possible to find out what the password is and if so, where abouts would you find some instructions on pretty much the whole process?
I'm not sure about bios versions ect. all I know is that it was made 2002

you would have to build an eeprom reader. im not sure where the tut is, but someone should post.

But in all honesty, id just buy a chip. No more locking needs if you do.
