The instructions for adding a larger hard drive to my xbox says
that the file I use must be a raw iso file. Does that men that the
iso image must be on the cd or that the files on the cd must have been burned from an iso file?

go here this is what i used man to upgrade my HDD but when u upgrade it you might have to re softmod it
if you need any help i dont mind helping

After I used dvddecriptor .The burn to the new HD was successfull, but now
when my menu comes up and i click applications , it says empty so I'm not sure what to do next. thanks Razzie

so you did install the larger HDD, if so and you have no apps just reinstall them and another if it installed correctly was it MS dash or hacked dash?

If you use XboxHDM you will have to re-softmod your Xbox (well at least with sid 4.5 you do.) but that's no biggy _________________

i heard that sometimes but not most of the time when you upgrade the HDD it will boot hacked dash
