I softmodded my xbox, then through a massive brain fart I decided to 'tinker'. Was going to go from SID 3.1 to 4.5 (dunno why) so I uninstalled 3.1, and went to format C so that I could reinstall ms dash from the backup I had on E. no sweat. But instead of formatting C I formatted the Whole stock HDD. my eeprom.bin was backed up on E as well... gonzo. I have a copy of AID 3.0 so I used that version of msdash for the c folder in xboxhdm and went through that whole process. I did write down all of the info that configmagik gave me. I have the key, password, etc... writen down. how can I make an eeprom.bin with this hardcopy without running my xbox(which boots to error16). Thanks guys...
Also when putting the original MSdash into the C: folder, should it remain zipped or should I uncompress the archive and put the actual files in the folder?

Yeah I have got that program, and tried to use it, but my problem is two fold now... First, (I am pretty sure) I UNmodded my Xbox just before the massive format, so AID will not run. Second, I had my HD hotswapped and I turned off the xbox without plugging the HD back in. If I am not mistaken, doing that permanently locks your HD. So now, regardless of what I have in the DVD drive, I always get an error 16. I am planning on getting a larger drive anyways... But I really need a PC based program that will compile an eeprom.bin from a hard copy(writen down) or an editable .cfg file (like configmagik, but PC based). What do you think?
