I'm trying to copy a game to my HDD and keep getting error 112(UnleashX), which iv found means not enough hard drive space(am i right?) if thats the case, there are files from a previous softmod attempt that are still on here(EvoX). Is there someone who can tell me what files i need, and the ones i can toss, safely so i can still run the MS dash?

Easyest way to fix this is buy a BIGGER hard drive if you cannot do that then remove sum games off your hdd or movies or music or do a full format and install on unleashed X. Sorry dont no what files you have to delate as i ues xbmc and use dvd2xbox.

This is a fresh softmod, maybe i should have said that from the start. Anyway, i dont have any music or movies or games on the hdd, so SOMETHING has to be taking up that space. Any clue what the default directory unleashX saves to?

it saves to the E: what game you trying to save halo2? thats one of the biggest, also DONT try to delete files to make space, thats the biggest problems that you can have with a softmodd.. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

Do you still have just the stock HDD in there too?

Yes, thats the stock hard drive, and no im not trying to copy halo 2.....just 1. And i get the feeling theres some stuff left from Evox when i got rid of that and put UnleashX on. Theres only 3500 mb on E: something tells me i should have more.

what do you have in E drive .. Dash apps ect. _________________

I agree.
The trouble is, if you FTP into the box or use a file manager to delete files, and you delete something you shouldn't have accidentally, you're going to stop your whole dashboard from working.
Even so, if you have no apps and just Unleashx and some EvoX files, you should have loads of space still. There's got to be something else there.

well, thanks for trying to help, ill go through the hard drive and see what i do have and something that obviously shouldn't be there. anyone have a clue where i can find how to delete everything except the ms dash? (i know how to search, but more eyes are better than just mine) or what i should save if im going to format the E: drive.
