I just installed a 160 gig drive in my xbox, and I'm curious to what the maximum size a partition can be. I created a F: drive with 150 gig but it only recognised as 8
I vaguely remember reading something close to being about 120ish max, so that is what I set it to, and it's working.
However, what is the official maximum size? is this a limitation of XFAT?
Oh, my xbox is a softmod too, if that makes any difference
Thanks
PS, sorry if this is int he wrong section, the hardware section is kind of restrictive.

If you already formatted and prepared the f: partition, perhaps the jumpers on your hdd is limiting it to 8gigs. Xbox' will recognize up to 137gig partitions. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

I have a 320 Gig in mine and you only get 123 Gig in your F drive the rest you have to put in G drive... _________________
