Post subject: NES emulator (FCU) - favorites and the ini file

I recently upgraded to a larger hard drive. Once I completed loading all the emulators, I copied over my backed up roms from my PC. I also was sure to upload my ini files that have customized settings, so that I wouldn't have to do it again (i.e. favorites, button settings, combos). The original hard drive had all my emulators on the D drive and now with the new larger hard drive I have installed on my G drive.

I am having particular trouble with my NES emulator, FCU. I modified my ini file to show the G drive location, instead of the original D location. For some reason my favorites list doesn't show anything. Keeping in on D drive doesn't do anything either.

Digging deeper, I noticed that the ini file holds not location for my favorites. The only directories with locations that show on the fceu.ini file is:
skin_dir
rom_dir
music_dir
screenshot_dir
and the save_dir

There is nothing concerning the favorites. Does anyone know what I will need to do? Perhaps it is another file that I should be modding? I would hate to go through and do the favorites list over again.

Any suggestions will help

***NOTE: interestingly for my other emulators (SNEX, Z26 etc) the drive locations still show D: from my original drive and still show my favorites and screenshots so I didn't need to change with the new hard drive...despite having them be on my G: drive. Confusing and I am sure there is some logic to it.

Although it says "D:" drive, in this case what it actually means is "current directory". Normally, the D:\ drive refers to the DVD drive, but in the case of ROM's, its referring to a directory.

So if for example your .ini says your rom's are in D:\ROMS, it actually means they're in "current directory":\ROMS (this could be whatever drive your emulator is on).

I see what your saying, FinalCloud. That clarifies the directory location, but more specifically my problem lies with my favorites not showing up.

Again stated, there is no location set for a favorites. I am trying to understand how the emulator knows and logs a favorite versus a game that is not specified as favorite. I was under the assumption that it is verified with the fcue.ini file, but does not seem like it. Perhaps another file?

Anyone help is greatly appreciated. Cheers
