Hi all! I've actually had a perfectly healthy Phoenix (soft)Modded Xbox for a bit now. My major problem is my best friend was the person that did it for me as I have next to NO tech background! My predicament: We just said goodbye to him december 24th last year and I've NO friends able to help me!! He and I were going to update it on the DVD2Xbox,add skins,new Emulators and a few other tweaks when he got better. Obviously he never did. I'd love it if someone would be willing to take me under their wing as an apprentice so to speak so that I can finish what he and I were planning. I DO NOT just want to hand it off to be completed by someone else! Please give me the chance. With patience and proper direction I can become the self sufficient person I promised him I would be when he and I met!! I can do anything I'm shown how to do as long as I'm given all the steps one time!!I've trouble being directed to tutorials as they have a bit of unfamiliar lingo and you usually can't ask a guide questions. I've tried to download .rar files and keep burning DVD coasters. What Hardware and software do I need? How do I get from A to B? For me the line doesn't seem to be as straight as I expected! Thanks to anyone that will share any guidance with me as we all Know that we were all at on time NEW to everything until someone showed us how!!! I'll check back here to see later!! First of all if it's software you are after, your A vip member so just download The aid disk files from here first then let's see about makind the Aid 3.1 disk for you.......

Thanks for helping me out! I listed the specs I believe to be true. The Phoenix Mod was derived from the MS Dash where I select Phoenix to get to the Unleash X Dash. As far as DVD2X and Emus, I do have a version of that already (.5.7)and some Roms, I was hoping to update it if necessary and add the remaining Roms NOT on my sys! My biggest obstacle is myself! I am Not experienced at all at properly downloading and installing anything other that MS Games to my F and G partitions as that is about as basic as it gets pop in disk and sel copy! My concern is doing something irrepairable. I have Still not been able to successfully DL and unzip/ or rar any files to a DVD to transfer to xbox, also I'm still unsure what or how to Ftp from Pc to Xbox. I'm just New to this I'm kinda stuck needing the simplistic building blocks info that will unlock what is currently like a foreign language I'm trying to understand with no prior foundation. You are all great for even taking the time to bother with a topic as dated as my Xbox when most everyone is going at 360s now. Thank You ALL _________________ Respect is Precious! xbox is still pretty popular... but since your a VIP go to the download section, and get the AID3.10 disk, once you have that downloaded get a program called winrar, its free from download.com. then once you have the AID downloaded, unrar the first aid file, then you will see a .iso file. then you need a program like DVDdecrypter just google it and it will pop up. after you have that use it to burn the .iso to a DVD-R anymore questions just ask _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:
