hi ,, i just install a xecuter 2.3 pro on a 1.6 box .. flash bios but when i turn the xbox on with enable chip it shuts on and off then the blinking lite.. turn the chip off boots fine.. any help..?????

Did you install the mod chip yourself? If so check the DO wire. If everything is fine with the DO wire, then reflash your bios. If you have an HQ autoinstaller disk then use that it has tons of bioses on it. _________________ Xecuter2.3bPro(Best Chip)

Since it's fine with the chip off, then I would think that your soldering or placement of chip is good...the D0 is a good starting point..that was good info, but other than that it's hard to say.
The machine shutting off and then fragging is what throws me...that is typically a sign of LPC issue or D0 issue. Keep us posted and let me know what gives...
What bios did you flash with? You should be using the M8 with a 1.6 machine.
