I just softmodded my v1.0 xbox and installed a 120 gig western digital wd1200jd through xboxhdm and loaded all my C, E and EEPROM files correctly and when i put it into my xbox it didnt recognize the extra space and said only 8 gig was available, so now i hooked it back up to the computer and tried to install the F partition and xboxhdm says the hard drive is not big enough for an F partition, I dont know what to do please help, thanks

put it into your xbox and load AID. Then go to format/prepare new harddrive and select larg hdd and it will format it then go to install ms dash and then tool or advanced options and install a softmod. _________________

how do i load aid into the xbox? create iso and burn to dvd? ftp?thanks

hey you burn it to a disk but just format F with AID and it will work and if not let me know.

ive tried burning the iso for AID once with all the patches onto a dvd-r and once without the patches onto a cd-r neither will boot once in the xbox and i have a thompson dvd drive is there anything i can do to make either one boot up
