im confused im trying to put my mod chip in and i dont have a clue its the xecuter3 ce soldierless 1.6b box is there a visual tut that will help or can someone call me to walk me through this

i guess i have to rebuild the lpc first is what i got outta that tut i just wanted to make sure am i correct cause i thought i wasnt going to have to soldier but i was wrong

You should have a crazy solderless kit that hooks up to the LPC points it will have like 5 copper wires hanging out. Those go on the mobo and then it should just bolt up to the one screw in the case. Do you have the right solderless kit?? Also there should be no soldering at all....but if you do solder it woundn't hurt if your soldered the copper wires to the mobo points. i dont have any thing with 5 copper wires maybe they didnt send me the whole kit casue i think all i have is the chip

Here you go...thats what a solderless apt for a 1.6b should look like...also this is a great guide too...it shows you what bios, how to FTP, how to flash...just use the other guide for the bios and the switch setup _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

LOL...an Xbox is an Xbox...os setting up your solderless apt is the same no matter what chip you are using. Once you have that setup, you plug you chip in the pins sticking out of the mobo (you just put them there) and then follow the X3 guide for flashing and setting up your chip. X3 has its own bios that are out of this world, next after you have flashed it (which your going to ask next what bios and where to get the bios file) and then once flashed you slap the AID3 disc in and install the dashes, app, and emu you want. Next go to the setting and set up your IP address to a 192.168.1.5 static IP and bam FTP from your PC (using a ftp program) and tranfer any MP3 files or rom files you have and bam your done. i am still lost i appreciate you trying man i am bad at this um that last tut looked like a chip that you have to soldier and i guess cause the chip and the wires it came with looked different its confusing me i guees i dont have the basic knowlegde to complete this mod my self but theres no modders close to me that can help me

Relax ok the second install guide shows you step by step on finding out what ver and where to put the solderless apt on the motherboard...take a closer look and you will be fine. Spot the points on the Mobo and clean them with rubbing ach and then once on tape it to the mobo with ele tape. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Ok dude now on the second PDF file I gave you...on page 25 is where you want to start reading now those copper wires I was talking about before...Well on page 27 thats where you want to put them. Now the guide show them soldering the wries on the mobo...well you have a solderless apt so you don't need to solder it at all. Just find the one spot and tape it in place and move from there.
