Hi, just saw this on ebay and i was wondering if this would be the right cable to connect my xbox directly to my pc (not through router). If it is could someone point me in right direction of how to do it as i have tried to connect it directly before with what i think was a standard thernet cable and it only connected for a second or two and the disconnected.

as long as its crossover, u can do direct PC-XBOX, if its just a CAT5E cable u will need a router so in other words, yes it will work, and all u do it plug them up to eachother then set the IPs _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

CAT5E refers to the cable spec. determine whether it is a patch or x over cable by looking at the plugs. If its patch both ends will be wired the same, if not its cross over
