i suppose you get to choose a dash with the auto installer?

if that is the case (cause i havent used aid auto installer ever before)

can you have multiple dashboards to choose to boot from, or can you only choose one from the install?

if only 1, which is the best (opinion)?

and if you do the option to format and partition your drive...what does it do.

just make a C and E drive

or does it throw an F drive on there?

what are each partition used for?

thanks alot

the C: drive is usually where you put the new "hacked"dash also it has the MSdash, I would suggest using XBMC, its the best to me. and dont do the partition, you dont need F: unless you have a bigger harddrive, then if you do install a bigger harddrive, install it, pop in AID and boot off of it, and follow the directions.. thats what the partion part is for.

i dont have the retail dash anymore (M$)...i am modding my box because the original hard drive went bad and started ticking and i had a useless box that would just give me the hdd error.

so i took the hard drive out (retail one) and am putting a 60 gig in for now that i just happened to have at home. so im started from a totally new drive.

so when the aid installs, does it just set up a C and E drive.

i know the c drive is where your dash goes, but what is the E drive used for? and in the future when i want to save roms / game files / etc...where would i put those?

Thanks
