Posted: Sat Jan 06, 2007 9:23 pm Post subject: UPGRADE HDD...Boot Disk not loading w/new HDD
AID 3.0 loads thru DVD with original HDD :D ...Xenium screen comes up, Launch EvoX M8. D drive loads AID..All works great, But I want a larger HDD... Can't get AID to load with virgin HDD in place...Autoboot with power on button to original bios...get error....put AID disk in and nuthin...Eject boot to Xenium..launch evoX M8 bios..screen freezes...any help would be appreciated. I tried the Xenium HDD Upgrade Wizard and Divineo Support for the Xenium says the Xenium Bios has alergies to upgrading to a Seagate Drive.....Sighhh...Anyways you guys know the rest... Thanks!

V 1.0 Enium Gold solderless
Evox M8 Bios with Avalaunch, XBMC and AID3.0
want to upgrade to 200 Gig Maxtor
Original Thompson DVD

providing u burnt the disc properly AID should boot when launching the evox M8 bios through xenium launch menu with either the stock or a large HDD. With AID 3 it does take a short while for it to load

Thanks to my relentless persuit and booting the system 20 times I finally got it going...AID is the Best by far! For all you newbs like me dont think about others, Get AID

Thanks for the reply Pez. Now heres another.....which bios has the Lb48?... so I can have G load up the rest of my free disk space?/....I love this stuff....I will lose sleep tinkering with my new toy...:). Much respect to all developers!

either evox m8plus or executer X2.5035 can support large HDD's. you will need to edit the bios and check the partition settings before flashing the bios to the chip
