My has had a modded Xbox for quite a few years now so he's been able to build up a nice library of files on his HDD. I just finished modding my Xbox and I want to know how I might be able to copy the files from his HDD to my PC and then transfered onto my Xbox.
Can anyone explain how I might be able to do this and which programs I'll need to have to get it done?
Thanks,
Patrick

FTP, that could work. It would be a little slow, but it would work. Or I have been doing (becuase FTP don't work) use the action replay/mega-x way. You could use that to transfer from Xbox to PC.

What in the hell is the action replay/mega-x way? I've never heard that before. Would that be faster then FTP or do you just use that option because you said the FTP isn't working for you?

those are two ways of putting files from your hdd to you memory card. I would suggest using ftp and a crossover cable. Depending on your computer it can be fast or slow. I use flashfxp for my ftp comes in handy to for ftping files over ird

Thats gotta be real slow transferring files with a Action Replay memory card, considering how small it is compared to the size of a game.
Ftp is the only option to move the game files around and its a heck of alot faster.
All you would need is a ftp client like Flashfxp, and if you want to compile them and burn them to disc, you can use C-xbox tool or Craxtion or Quix and these programs also do ftp transfers as well. _________________
