Hello.
First, a little bit of background ...
So, I softmodded and had UnleashX working fine, then installed XBMC, which was also working fine. I wasn't a fan of loading XBMC from UnleashX and wanted to go straight to XBMC when I started the XBox ... so on the advice of a friend, I tweaked the default.xbe file with one he sent me that would point directly to XBMC.
Problem is, that default.xbe wasn't quite right and now the whole thing is fubarred. Can play the games no problem, but obviously any time I start the XBox without a disk I get error 21 and all screwed up.
So my question is this: since I had softmodded it at one point in time, will *just* AID help me out in anyway? I don't want to have to crack open the box again, nor do I have any of the games for the hack, and I don't have a memory card. A few references on the site say that I can just download, burn, and throw in AID and it should be sweet (I'm currently at the download stage), is this true, or do I have to start over??

Well all you really need to do is load your gamesave exploit back up the ftp in the origonal giving the fact that you still have the game and the exploit. if you dont have the origonal evoxdash.xbe file the download a copy from aideluxe.com then extract the evoxdash.xbe and put it in C:\ and replace your current one. that should work if not tell me and i will find another solution. _________________

... and by "load your gamesave exploit" you mean, like either 007AUF, MechAssult, or Splinter Cell?
Yeah, see, that'd be one of the problems: I don't have any of those.
In the manual it states "Softmod users must have already installed their Softmod before attempting to launch this" ... I have softmodded, but default.xbe is wrong ... so can I still boot into AID?

if you dont have the game your gonna have to go and get the one you softmodded with, as the softmod is no longer running in order to boot aid. _________________
