I've been giving this topic alot of thought lately and I really dont like any of these new systems, but if I had to chose I would have to pick the wii. I just dont think a console is really worth spending so much money on. I mean $300 was kinda pushing it. Especially when nowadays you dont get any games and only one controller with a new system. I remember when I got my first system, a NES. It came with Mario + Duckhunt, 2 controllers, and a gun. Nowadays you even have to buy good AV cables seperate. Since nowadays I have to work to make my money I really cant see myself dropping $500+ bucks to buy a new system every few years plus the $55 pricetag on new games. Maybe I would get an XBOX 360 if i somehow doubled my income or started slinging bags again . But since neither of those things are gonna happen in the near future, I think I'll just stick to my modded box and spend my money to build a new computer. _________________

I like the 360 better because of game titles and online play, the Xbox Marketplace has a way better interface the the PS3 store, no contest. In fairness to both the Wii and PS3 they had a late launch so maybe there game selections get better, right now the 360 is the console to own. _________________ Xbox V1.3

Gotta go with the PS3 on this one. It seems to have the most potential for greatness. I bought a PS3 shortly after they were released with resistance (which is lookin sweet running in 720p) but so far thats it....I'm stuck waiting for games that I want FFXIII, DMC 4, Lair, Metal Gear 4 etc...and its painful because I'm looking at Gears of War, Dead Rising and Lost Planet...these games look awesome and I'm still waiting for the games that will potentially blow all of those out of the water on the PS3.
To sum it up...
I Have an XBOX
I Have a PS2
I Have a Gamecube
I Have a PS3
I Have a Wii.....
And eventually I will have an XBOX 360

I chose the Wii 1st but 360 is right in behind. I jus like the freedom of the Wii and being interactive, the saxxis controllers for the PS3 SUCK. _________________ )-(usalife

The one shady thing I saw about the Playstation 3 is that in the new Gran Tourismo if you want to unlock things you have to pay for them and download them. Pay with actual money that is. And from what I understand it'll cost you a pretty penny to unlock everything. _________________

ps3 really sucks theres only one reason to get one which is final fantasy
im getting a 360 soon
but overall i choose PC haha but for consoles id go with wii and 360

After reading all the comments above I've decided........
....not to change my view. For me, its a PS3, without question or hesitation. Sony do have an advantage over me though, and as Frozenfire said, its the Final Fantasy series, more specifically, FFXIII.
I own every single FF title so it was always inevitible that a PS3 would make my collection one day.
Just need to wait until March 23rd for its release in the UK! A bargain at only £425 ($829).
I've made a note in my diary, just to be sure.....
(Also, remember this is an Xbox site, the votes are always going to be slightly biased, lol)

first off i will say i have never owned a nintendo after the snes so i will not bother with thw wii and besides who wants to say after a long day at work i just want to get home pull out my wii and shake it around??? as for the 360 i dont want a gaming systom that i can cook my brakfast on sony has alwase got my money but this gen im not to inpresed i love the mgs and gta games i got my xbox for one game at first and thet was marowind that game rocks i just got a psp and altho its grate sony is forgeting the us market so sony im sary but you ante geting any more money out of me and for a 599 price tag i can get a better comp so till some one wows me i will stick with my xbox and say to hell with the " next gen " i think its time for the 512 or the 1024 as for the games thy get better as the consols get older so you can never tell who will dominate at lonch i think sony will just cus the blue ray i mean can you imagen a 30 gig game _________________ <a href="http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/Users/BUD_TOKER_13"><img src="http://pid.us.playstation.com/user/BUD_TOKER_13.jpg" width="235" height="149" border="0" /></a>
