right i just got another xbox cos i wanted it got it at a good p[rice the only thing is that its a samsung dvd drive and it doesn't seem to be reading anyother makes of dvds sides from tdk - which is a bugger as i dont have aid 3.1 on a tdk is this a common problem or i gotta spare samsung from another xbox is it worth a try? have a clear xbox and the dvd drive reads any braND OF DVD PRACTICALLY!

Damn cant find a tdk disk anywheres! wot a bugger plus this was a present and im gonna have to buy loads of tdk now! bugger! i thought samsung drives where suppose to be better then phillips anyway?

The samsung 605B reads allmost averything (DVD+&-R's RW and CD-RW) BUT on the new Samsung drives (605F drive), thay are quite picky BUT should play all DVD-R's (allmost all) _________________

right i think i gotta the troublesome one in this xbox im usng tesco brand and performance and it didnt even ead my aid 3 iso on cd r which almost every xbox i use it one it works - my dvd must be shit - gonna clean it and replace with another - i know its the same model can i just swap the drive???
